This position serves as a strategic partner in the development, implementation, and administration of our global insurance and risk management programs. You will act as a central hub connecting the business with the Director of Risk Management to identify, measure, and manage risks effectively. Your work will directly influence how we optimize future operations by analyzing risk challenges and successes.
In this role, you will facilitate the end-to-end management of insurance claims, from initial reporting and development to settlement. You will also lead the procurement of insurance renewals and new placements, as well as surety bonds, ensuring all underwriting information and documentation are prepared with precision. A key part of your day involves managing relationships with external service providers, including brokers, actuaries, and underwriters, while serving as a liaison with in-house legal counsel. You will assess claim reserves, communicate exposures to underwriters and accounting personnel, and support the development of proactive risk management techniques, such as operational audits, to minimize potential losses.

Adjuster License - All Lines (Property, Casualty & Surety and Workers' Compensation, Employer's Liability & USL&H); Associate in Claims (AIC); Associate in Risk Management (ARM); Working experience in the onshore/offshore oil and gas drilling industry or with an energy-related service company; 3+ years of progressive experience in claims management (litigated and non-litigated) for an organization with international operations; Experience with placement of insurance in both domestic and international insurance markets; Experience in the preparation of insurance renewal submissions and underwriter audits; Experience in a multi-entity, multi-national corporate environment; Experience with audits of data or organizational effectiveness, e.g., payroll audits, SOX Controls audits.
