This position is designed for a professional who thrives in complex, multi-environment settings. You will serve as a key guardian of our client's data integrity, managing the full lifecycle of SQL Server environments ranging from on-premises hardware to cloud-native platforms like Azure and AWS. The role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in database architecture and practical automation skills to streamline operations.
In this role, you will not only maintain the health of existing systems but also actively participate in the planning and design phases of new applications. You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure that database structures align with business goals while adhering to strict security and compliance standards. Your day-to-day will involve optimizing query performance, managing automated backup and recovery strategies, and implementing security protocols such as data masking and encryption to protect sensitive internal data.
