As a SQL Database Administrator, you will serve as a critical guardian of the firm's data infrastructure. Your mission is to ensure the performance, availability, and security of enterprise database systems that power our business operations. This role goes beyond routine maintenance; you will partner with application owners and development teams to architect solutions that meet complex business and technical requirements.
You will play a key part in the stability and ongoing improvement of our database environment, supporting firmwide initiatives such as document management platforms. From optimizing query performance to designing robust disaster recovery plans, your work ensures that our data remains accessible, secure, and reliable for the organization.
This is a remote position designed for flexibility, with a specific geographic requirement to ensure operational readiness. Candidates must reside within approximately 1–2 hours of commuting distance from our Pittsburgh office. This proximity allows for occasional in-office collaboration, emergency support, and participation in firmwide IT initiatives as business needs dictate.
