As a Sprinkler Construction Fitter with Allied Fire Protection, you will be the backbone of our installation teams, ensuring the safe and precise execution of fire sprinkler systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex engineering plans and on-site reality, delivering high-quality work that protects lives and property.
In this position, you will interpret blueprints to guide the installation process, operating hand and power tools to cut and fit steel pipe for new construction or remodels. Beyond the physical installation, you serve as a mentor to apprentices and helpers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and safety. Your day involves a balance of active construction, rigorous documentation, and proactive communication with supervisors and customers to ensure projects stay on scope and on budget.
At Allied Fire Protection, safety is not just a rule; it is our core value. We expect every team member to live our mission statement daily, prioritizing the well-being of our crew and the public above all else. This includes strict adherence to Safety First protocols, maintaining Stop Work Authority, and ensuring all safety documentation, such as Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Toolbox Talks, is completed accurately and on time.
We value professionalism and accountability. Whether you are managing inventory, maintaining company vehicles, or responding to customer feedback, you are expected to uphold the highest standards of conduct. We foster a team-oriented environment where effective communication and positive interactions are essential to our success.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate a valid state driver's license with a good driving record, as well as the ability to navigate company vehicles safely. The selection process focuses on verifying your five years of relevant fire sprinkler installation experience and your familiarity with NFPA occupancies and spacing requirements.
Allied Fire Protection is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
