About the Role
Silco is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Fitter to join our team in Toledo, OH. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong technical skills and a desire to help protect people and property. As a Sprinkler Fitter, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in commercial properties.
You will interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine the layout and configuration of sprinkler systems, ensuring proper alignment and connection of pipes, fittings, valves, and other components. Your work will involve testing newly installed systems to verify functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as performing routine inspections and troubleshooting existing systems. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and inspectors to complete projects on time and within budget, while also providing training and guidance to other team members as needed.
