Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.

Designed to significantly help people who have primarily experienced a brain injury, spinal cord injury, or stroke/CVA through accident or illness, our mission is to help patients regain functional capabilities. By providing care in the home, community, workplace, or school, we promote greater health through the recovery process, delivering industry-leading outcomes that dramatically improve functional skills and independence for patients.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is enthusiastic about providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens. This role is distinct because it moves beyond the staged environment of a clinic into real-life experiences. You will treat patients in their kitchens, navigate grocery stores and restaurants, engage in outdoor activities, and support them in the workplace.

You will thrive in an autonomous setting while valuing your place in a collaborative team of dynamic therapists. Your day will involve performing evaluations and developing treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will regularly re-assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings and family conferences, and perform discharge evaluations. A key part of your impact will be making appropriate recommendations for home and community safety while providing referral and education resources. You will communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physicians, and families, ensuring collaboration and coordination of care to enhance patient outcomes.
