Gem Prep is a K-12 college preparatory school with an ambitious goal: to ensure all secondary students graduate from high school with an associate degree. Our elementary program builds a strong academic foundation for grades 6-12, setting the stage for this rigorous journey.
Gem Prep schools operate as part of the Gem Innovation Schools organization, serving students across Idaho through large brick-and-mortar charter schools, a statewide virtual school, and micro school-like settings known as Learning Societies. Our mission is to prepare students for success in college by providing a high-quality, personalized, relevant, and rigorous education through exceptional teaching, innovative uses of technology, and partnerships with families.
At Gem Prep, we believe in a culture of shared competencies. Both students and staff are expected to develop and embody traits such as being self-aware, self-directed, and self-disciplined; creative problem-solvers; skilled communicators and collaborators; and civic-minded individuals.
