This is no ordinary job, and our special agents are no ordinary individuals. During the course of their careers, special agents carry out assignments in both investigations and protection, often assigned to multiple duty stations throughout the U.S. and abroad. You will provide protection for various protectees, conduct criminal investigations pertaining to the financial obligations of the United States, and plan and implement security designs for National Special Security Events.

Successful candidates will complete 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Glynco, GA, followed by 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, MD.

Becoming a special agent requires a commitment to mobility and integrity. You must sign a mobility agreement stating your willingness to accept assignments anywhere within the United States and overseas. Additionally, you must obtain and retain a Top Secret Clearance throughout your career.
