About the Role
The Space Sector Technical Director serves as the critical bridge between Space Sector leadership and technical leads across CGI Federal. This role ensures tight integration between growth strategy, technical vision, and mission execution for our primary customers within NASA and the U.S. Space Force. As a senior technical growth leader, you will support strategic pursuits and modernization initiatives aligned to enterprise IT transformation, cloud migration, Zero Trust, cyber resilience, and emerging space-domain capabilities.
In this position, you will lead the development of compelling, executable solutions for specific requirements in enterprise and mission IT. You will partner closely with capture, business development, and delivery leadership to shape and mature strategic pursuits, building customer relationships across CIO, CTO, and CISO communities. Your work will involve developing differentiated technical approaches and modernization roadmaps for large-scale opportunities, leveraging hyperscaler partnerships (particularly AWS) to improve technical differentiation. Additionally, you will contribute to CGI Federal's thought leadership by writing white papers, RFI/RFP responses, and coordinating communications plans to support Space Sector opportunity pursuits. You will also play a key role in recruiting, mentoring, and growing technical talent within the Space Sector.

Requirements

Master's degree. Familiarity with mission environments supporting C2, missile defense, space operations, and mission assurance. Familiarity with DevSecOps, RMF, enterprise architecture, and mission system modernization. AWS or other Hyperscaler certifications. Active clearance or ability to obtain one.
