About the Role
Premier Transportation, an industry leader in comprehensive logistical solutions, is seeking a dedicated Southeast Regional Transportation Manager to oversee our transportation operations across the Southeastern United States. This pivotal role focuses on optimizing route planning, maintaining compliance with transportation laws, and enhancing supply chain efficiencies through strategic oversight of our full-service trucking and dedicated fleet operations.
In this position, you will serve as the strategic anchor for our regional logistics, ensuring seamless operations from the ground up. You will develop and implement transportation routes that optimize cost and efficiency while guaranteeing timely deliveries. Your day-to-day involves managing relationships with logistics partners and internal teams, analyzing performance data to drive strategic improvements, and leading a team of transportation personnel. You will also act as the primary responder to logistical emergencies, implementing corrective measures to prevent future occurrences and collaborating with other regional managers to synchronize operations across the broader supply chain.
