As a Software Engineer Team Leader within the Technology department, you will serve as a pivotal bridge between technical execution and strategic planning. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who thrives on solving complex problems while navigating the constraints of computer systems and operational timelines. You will not only design, develop, and deploy software using a mix of custom and off-the-shelf tools but also lead the team responsible for ensuring these systems run smoothly.
Your day-to-day involves a blend of hands-on engineering and leadership. You will assign and direct team work, estimate technical efforts, and supervise assignments to ensure sustainable solutions are delivered. Beyond coding, you will foster a culture of quality by conducting code reviews, building test automation suites, and implementing design patterns. You are expected to take ownership of applications, make independent decisions, and drive continuous improvements in software performance and compliance remediation.
