About the Role

This opportunity seeks a highly motivated, team-oriented Software Engineer to work on Java-based modeling tool capabilities for SysML and MBSE workflows. You will have the chance to work on nearly every aspect of the role, focusing on extending a Cameo Systems Modeler plugin, building and maintaining model and diagram generation logic, and integrating with AI-assisted structured-output workflows. Your work will directly improve the reliability of schema-driven model creation across multiple repositories.

The ideal candidate is a pragmatic Java engineer comfortable in a specialized engineering domain. You will understand how structured data maps into model elements and diagrams, debug issues across repository boundaries, and deliver features iteratively while maintaining technical rigor. This role requires collaboration across software, systems engineering, and platform teams to ensure every member is set up for success.

Due to the classification level of the projects we support as a Defense Contractor, this position is not fully remote. You will have a desk at our G2 Ops office in Virginia Beach with the ability to telework with prior approval. We offer a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our team members and customers.

The ideal candidate must be able to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance. As we are working for the Department of Defense, this requirement is mandatory.
