Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleCollaborate with leads to influence software architecture and design
  • check_circleDevelop secure and highly performant integration services and APIs
  • check_circleTranslate product requirements into executable technical solutions
  • check_circleInvestigate and resolve production issues from UI to service layer
  • check_circleCreate reference implementations to mentor junior staff
  • check_circleDesign and build multithreaded, distributed systems
  • check_circleDefine and enforce engineering best practices
  • check_circleDesign, develop, and maintain Integration API services using Java

Requirements

  • verifiedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or another technical field
  • verified3+ years of experience in Integration tools and technologies and software using Java, Spring, Kafka, workflow orchestration, decision rules, API gateway, service mesh, event driven & API based microservices
  • verifiedExperience in leading teams across multiple locations and vendors

Nice to Have

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline. Experience with vibe coding and AI tools. Previous work experience in integration applications, products, and platforms. Experience working with vendor teams to deliver high-quality results. Knowledge of performance testing and application profiling (Gatling, JProfiler). Strong curiosity about how Disney delivers the Magic and a desire to be a part of it.
