About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain web-based tools leveraging a variety of technologies under the guidance of a Lead Software Engineer. You will work closely with other engineers on an agile software product delivery team to create new features and functionality, participate in scoping and design sessions, and fix bugs. Your efforts may focus on front-end UI programming and/or back-end development, utilizing technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, C#, and .NET to interact with existing systems, APIs, and databases.
This is a hybrid position based at our Nashua, NH headquarters, requiring an in-office presence three days per week.

This role is open to US Citizens or permanent residents authorized to work in the United States. Rightworks LLC is unable to offer visa sponsorship. Due to specific state regulations, we are unable to accept applications from residents of California, Hawaii, or Alaska. Relocation will not be offered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleIndependently code user stories following established patterns and practices
- check_circleParticipate in all scrum ceremonies and agile software product delivery
- check_circleEnsure appropriate unit and integration test coverage with SDET support
- check_circleWork with UX team to ensure design standards are met
- check_circleMentor associate software engineers and new hires
- check_circleParticipate in software engineering design discussions and scoping sessions
- check_circleCollaborate with product owners to ensure user story accuracy and acceptance criteria
- check_circleConduct code reviews and engage in pair programming with team members
Requirements
- verifiedUS Citizen or permanent resident authorized to work in the United States
- verifiedAssociates Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, relevant certification, or relevant job experience
- verified1+ years of software engineering experience
- verifiedExperience with Angular, Typescript, Nx, and Storybook
- verifiedExperience with C# and .NET
- verifiedExperience with creating and/or consuming RESTful APIs
Nice to Have
Associates Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, relevant up to date certification, or relevant job experience. 1+ years of software engineering experience.
