The AWS Data Integration group provides rapidly growing, industry-acclaimed cloud services spanning big data platforms, data analytics, and operational databases. We are at the forefront of innovation, producing world-class services such as EMR, Redshift, and RDS Aurora.
Glue is a serverless platform for Data Analytics, focusing on ETL and empowering Data Analysts and Engineers. Our goal is to redefine how data analytics is done, making it easy and fast for customers to query their data. We are currently building the next generation of data replication services to enable customers to seamlessly replicate SaaS application data with Transactional Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
We are scaling backend infrastructure to enable super-low latencies for interactive jobs and massive scale like never seen before. The team owns both Product and Backend, offering a unique end-to-end experience.
You will join a fast-paced environment that energizes you to be at your best. This role is for someone passionate about building large-scale distributed systems who thrives in a culture of ownership, delivery, and bias for action. You will translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design, and extensible code, while technically leading a team of smart engineers on complex projects.
As an advocate of industry best practices, you will produce reliable, fault-tolerant, and dependable code. You will own system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance, while collaborating and influencing other teams to deliver and operate large-scale, distributed services in the cloud. Additionally, you will mentor other engineers, helping to define our challenging technical culture and build a fast-growing team.
