About the Role
The Wilson Library Social Media & Marketing Specialist serves as a vital bridge between the library and the university community. In this role, you will plan, write, and design promotional materials that bring the library's services and resources to life. You will be the creative voice behind our social media presence on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, crafting engaging content and displays that inform faculty, staff, and students about what the library has to offer.
This position is designed for a current ULV student who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Whether you are editing video content, coordinating promotional events, or creating visual assets, your work will directly impact how the campus engages with the library.
Work Schedule & Location
This is an on-campus position requiring a commitment of at least 10 hours per week. We offer flexible work hours tailored to fit around your academic schedule and personal availability, ensuring a healthy balance between your studies and your professional growth.

Requirements

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Interest in graphic design, photography, video creation and editing, creative writing, marketing, promotions, public relations, and/or event planning. Customer Service experience.
