About the Role
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst serves as a critical frontline defender, responsible for the continuous monitoring and analysis of security threats to protect the organization's information assets. This role is designed to ensure the integrity of our network environment by implementing appropriate countermeasures and managing incident response efforts in real-time.
In this hybrid capacity, you will operate from our Bethesda, MD location two days a week, collaborating directly with the team to maintain operational excellence. The position requires a deep engagement with daily security operations, including the management of security waivers, product evaluations, and the oversight of standard operating procedures that guide the center's activities. You will act as a key communicator, reporting security status and documentation to stakeholders while assisting in investigations into potential security breaches.
Hiring Process & Requirements
Candidates for this position must be U.S. Citizens. The role is structured to support a rigorous security environment, requiring a minimum of five years of experience within the Cyber Security industry, specifically in security event monitoring and incident response services within an enterprise network.
