To get started, you must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid U.S. driver's license and vehicle insurance, and have at least one year of driving experience in the U.S. (three years if you are under 23). You must also drive a 4-door vehicle.

New drivers who have never previously signed up to drive or deliver with Uber can earn at least $2,060 by completing 165 trips within their first 30 days. This promotional offer is limited to new drivers who meet the minimum trip threshold in their city within 30 days of signing up.
