The Shift Technician is a multi-disciplinary role within our Plant Operations family, designed to bridge the gap between operations and maintenance. You will be primarily assigned to the base crew on a Monday-through-Friday day shift, with the flexibility to join rotating 12-hour operating shifts as needed. This position requires a high degree of independence, as you will plan, schedule, and execute all aspects of your work.
In this capacity, you will perform a wide range of duties including electrical, control, instrument, mechanical, welding, and machine tool operations. The role demands physical versatility, requiring you to work in diverse environments ranging from hot and dusty outdoor areas to indoor facilities, and to perform tasks such as working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Success in this role also requires strict adherence to safety standards, including medical qualification for respirator use and clean-shaven compliance for OSHA fit tests.
