About the Role
The Shift Lead serves as a vital bridge between clinical operations and leadership, ensuring continuity and operational support across all shifts. This position is designed to guarantee that the hospital always has leadership onsite to support associates and clients, even when the Practice Manager or Chief of Staff are not present.
In this role, you will balance approximately 80% hands-on paraprofessional duties with 20% leadership responsibilities. You will live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc., acting as the extra eyes, ears, and hands for veterinarians and technicians. Your day-to-day involves managing the flow of clients and pets, educating owners on preventative care and wellness plans, and maintaining a safe, sterile, and organized environment. By fostering a culture of engagement and efficiency, you help the team maximize productivity while delivering world-class preventive care.
