Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage and administer delivery of Red Cross services to military members, veterans, and families
- check_circleBuild relationships with military leadership, community organizations, and corporate partners
- check_circleUtilize Volunteer Connection Platform to manage, document, and communicate with volunteers
- check_circleDevelop and manage budgets and expenditures for all programs and services
- check_circleMonitor and report on program outcomes and results to ensure organizational accountability
- check_circleSupport day-to-day operations and emergency needs of the Hero Care Center
- check_circleRespond to emergency, surge, and disaster situations as needed
- check_circleCoordinate services to military treatment facilities and VA hospitals through various support programs
- check_circleConduct command meetings, education briefings, and presentations to promote Red Cross mission
- check_circleRecruit, train, and supervise leadership volunteers to support program delivery
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor’s degree in business, public administration, human resources, community organization, social/health sciences, or related field
- verified5 years minimum related experience in program management or related field
- verifiedU.S. citizenship required
- verifiedAbility to obtain a secret security clearance
- verifiedAbility to obtain a no-fee U.S. passport
- verifiedStrong computer skills
- verifiedPublic speaking skills
- verifiedAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- verifiedStrong interpersonal skills
