About the Role
We are seeking technically minded individuals with experience in low voltage electronics to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing service on STC products directly at customer sites. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all post-installation issues regarding security systems and equipment, while also contributing to special project work as needed.
Your day-to-day involves responding to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance. You will work both individually and as part of a team to diagnose and resolve application issues, execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize availability, and identify system faults. The role requires performing routine configuration changes, documenting all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system, and producing quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, you will perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications, as well as on-site installations of software upgrades.

Requirements

- verifiedStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

- verifiedIowa Fire License preferred
