About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Heavy-Duty Diesel Service Shop Lead to manage operations at a satellite repair facility. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who thrives in a small-team setting, serving as both a manager and a key technician. The facility consists of a two-bay shop that operates with a team of two technicians and a manager when fully staffed.
In this position, you will primarily service front-loaded cement mixers and tri-axle dump trucks, while also handling a wide range of heavy-duty repair work across the commercial truck industry. Your day will involve diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues, assisting technicians with service orders, and coordinating daily workflows to ensure efficient operations. You will be the bridge between shop floor execution and company leadership, ensuring quality control standards are met and inventory is managed effectively.
