From the beginning, Starbucks has set out to be a different kind of company—one that celebrates coffee and rich tradition while fostering a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.
The Retail Infrastructure Technology (RIT) team is the backbone of this mission for our physical stores. We own the selection, installation, maintenance, and associated vendor relationships for all technology deployed in 10,000+ company-owned Starbucks locations across North America. Our work ensures that the digital and physical experiences of our partners and customers run seamlessly.
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will contribute to Starbucks' success by providing management oversight into all aspects of supplier management. This includes supplier selection, service delivery, financial oversight, and maintaining positive supplier sentiment. You will serve as the bridge between Retail Operations, Starbucks Technology, Finance, and Sourcing, ensuring a balance among all stakeholders.
This role requires a strategic view of the organization with the ability to execute at a tactical level. You will manage a vertical portfolio of work associated with one or more strategic suppliers, owning the Service Delivery process and business outcomes for each vendor. Your day-to-day will involve monitoring operational execution, acting as an escalation point for issues, and using data and analytics to suggest new targets that improve performance beyond historic norms.
You will advocate for support requirements regarding retail infrastructure and helpdesk operations, driving service design, implementation, and continuous improvements. By partnering with Sourcing on contract management and RFP activities, you will ensure pricing and contractual alignment. Ultimately, you will establish deeper connections with our customers, exploring unmet needs and solving them through vendor relationships to support Starbucks' strategic business goals.
We believe we do our best work when we're together, which is why this role is onsite four days a week. If you are ready to inspire with every cup, we invite you to apply today to join our team.
