About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and technical SEO leader passionate about organic growth, automation, and the evolving role of AI in search. As our SEO Strategist, you will lead performance across multiple client accounts while experimenting with the latest innovations, including AI-generated content, prompt testing, and knowledge embedding.
You will own the full spectrum of SEO, from deep technical audits and structured data to high-level experimentation and cross-channel collaboration. This is a strategic, experimental role at the intersection of SEO and AI, offering the opportunity to lead across technical, content, and automation layers. You will help redefine what SEO looks like in the age of AI, with a clear growth path into leadership or specialized areas of innovation.

Work Location & Schedule
This role is hybrid in Raleigh, NC. Please note that this position will be strictly in-person for the beginning of your employment until we are both comfortable transitioning to a virtual part-time schedule. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.

- check_circleLead SEO strategy, execution, and optimization across diverse client portfolios
- check_circleMonitor and improve KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and lead volume
- check_circleTest and refine strategies involving prompt engineering and AI-generated content
- check_circleConduct deep-dive technical audits and optimize Core Web Vitals for WordPress sites
- check_circleImplement and manage schema markup to enhance AI and SERP visibility
- check_circleBuild efficient, scalable systems and workflows using automation tools
- check_circleEstablish an internal SEO knowledge base and lead QA initiatives
- check_circleMaintain and optimize the internal site using UX and SEO best practices
Requirements
- verified3–5 years of experience in SEO
- verifiedProficiency in Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GSC, Looker Studio, Google Analytics
- verifiedTechnical SEO expertise in WordPress environments
- verifiedFluency in schema markup and structured data implementation
