AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We are the people who keep the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We tackle the most challenging problems, navigating thousands of variables impacting the supply chain.
The Data Center Infrastructure Reliability and Quality (IRQ) Team specifically owns the quality and reliability of critical infrastructure equipment throughout its lifecycle. This includes leading Design for Reliability (DFR) and Design for Quality (DFQ) efforts for new product development, sustaining the existing fleet by identifying systemic issues, and driving root cause analysis to mitigate risk.
You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. We foster an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. Our team collaborates across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager for Quality and Reliability for Mechanical and Power Generation Products, you will be an exceptionally strong communicator leading multi-discipline and highly technical program teams. Your mission is to orchestrate complex product strategies, own program-level metrics and executive reporting, and build compelling cases for internal and external leadership where both speed and quality are non-negotiable.
In this role, you will partner with engineering, purchasing, and project execution teams to make strategic decisions regarding specific projects and overall program direction. You will connect long-term strategies with AWS's rapid growth patterns while guiding specific operational needs. You will be instrumental in identifying and resolving risks, issues, and bottlenecks, often crossing multiple departmental boundaries to achieve your goals. Your work will involve generating enhanced reporting, meaningful KPIs, and process automation improvements to ensure team efficiency and visibility of portfolio efforts to critical stakeholders.
Amazon values diverse experiences and encourages candidates to apply even if they do not meet every single qualification. If your career is just starting, hasn't followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, we want to hear from you.
