About the Role
This is a specialized infrastructure hardware support position focused on maintaining the critical IT backbone for 24/7 manufacturing operations. The Senior Systems Administrator serves as the technical expert for the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), bridging the gap between physical hardware, virtualization layers, and core network services. The role is strictly non-developmental, prioritizing stability, data integrity, and uptime in a highly regulated environment.
The position exists to guarantee business continuity by managing the entire stack—from Cisco UCS hardware and VMware virtualization to Active Directory and Citrix application delivery. A primary mission of this role is the design and management of robust backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical MES data against loss or corruption.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 12 years of total experience. Specifically, 5+ years of systems administration within a production or manufacturing environment is required. Prior experience supporting MES platforms (e.g., Siemens, Emerson) is highly desirable.
