This position serves as a strategic partner in our supplier development engineering function. You will work directly with manufacturers and service suppliers to ensure that all products and services meet our rigorous company requirements. The role acts as a critical interface between our internal departments and external parties, focusing on product manufacturability and managing product changes.
In this capacity, you will integrate incoming performance from raw material and component suppliers with our manufacturing plants to collaboratively resolve issues. You will be responsible for developing world-class supplier processes, conducting programs to improve supplier performance and productivity, and managing supply chain resiliency initiatives such as supplier consolidation and dual sourcing. Additionally, you will ensure that customer technical requirements are adhered to and that a robust quality system is maintained throughout the supply chain.
