About the Role
Success Academy Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist, Competitive Math to join our Education, Training & E-Learning department. This role is designed to design and lead advanced math enrichment and competition preparation for elementary and middle school scholars across our network. You will serve as a catalyst for academic excellence, developing rigorous curricula, coaching teachers, and analyzing data to drive measurable results.
In this position, you will coordinate math teams for local and national competitions, collaborating across schools to model high-impact instruction. You will operate within an innovative, results-driven, and continuously improving culture, ensuring that our competitive math program aligns with broader school instructional goals while pushing the boundaries of gifted education strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDesign and refine rigorous, competition-oriented math curricula for elementary and middle school students
- check_circleDevelop and curate challenging problem sets and enrichment resources aligned with competition standards
- check_circleAnalyze student performance data to identify trends and opportunities for acceleration
- check_circleCoach teachers and provide training on high-level math instruction and differentiation strategies
- check_circleLead workshops and model lessons focused on advanced mathematical thinking and problem-solving
- check_circleCoordinate student participation in local and national math competitions including logistics and analysis
- check_circleEnsure alignment of the competitive math program with broader school instructional goals and standards
- check_circlePartner with central office teams to communicate outcomes and recommend strategic improvements
- check_circleResearch emerging practices in gifted education to maintain program innovation
Requirements
- verifiedState teaching certification in Mathematics or Elementary Education (or eligibility/preferred)
- verifiedAdvanced coursework in mathematics, math education, or related field
- verifiedDemonstrated experience with math competitions (e.g., Math Olympiad, AMC, MathCounts)
- verifiedFormal training in data-driven instruction or assessment design (preferred)
Nice to Have
State teaching certification in Mathematics or Elementary Education (or eligibility). Formal training in data-driven instruction or assessment design.
