Key Responsibilities
- check_circleArchitect and deliver mission-grade software capabilities across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments
- check_circleDevelop advanced application features and automation modules using Python, Java, Go, and JavaScript
- check_circleLead complex feature development and conduct in-depth code reviews across sprint cycles
- check_circleReview code for security compliance and architect end-to-end DevSecOps pipeline workflows
- check_circleDesign Infrastructure-as-Code patterns to enforce environmental consistency and reduce configuration drift
- check_circleDesign observability stacks and lead incident post-mortems to improve system reliability
- check_circleCollaborate with cybersecurity and platform engineering teams to resolve integration challenges
- check_circleDeliver technical documentation and performance summaries to enhance operational effectiveness
- check_circleCreate STIG and container-hardening profiles while automating compliance reporting and remediation
- check_circleOwn application architecture and define security-by-design baselines using Terraform and Ansible
- check_circleIntegrate automated testing components into CI/CD pipelines for unit, regression, and performance validation
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI
- verified10-12 years software engineering experience
- verifiedExpert proficiency in 2+ languages (Python, Java, Go, JavaScript)
- verifiedExperience with Docker and Kubernetes
- verifiedExperience with DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines
- verifiedExperience with Terraform and Ansible
- verifiedExperience with STIG compliance and container hardening
- verifiedExperience deploying in DoW-compliant cloud environments (AWS GovCloud/Secret Region)
- verifiedBachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field
Nice to Have
Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility. AWS Solutions Architect (Professional), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or an equivalent cloud or platform engineering certification; DoW 8570/8140-compliant cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+. Prior experience contributing to or leading software engineering efforts on DoW, intelligence community, or defense AI/ML programs such as NGA Maven, CDAO SUNet, or Advana. Familiarity with Agile and Lean software development methodologies. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field.
