About the Team
Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our agile development team in Atlanta, GA. We are a group of curious, adaptable engineers who thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a senior team member, you will be a champion of technical excellence, mentoring junior engineers and advocating for best practices in cloud-native, DevOps-focused software engineering. You will work within a collaborative, cross-functional Agile environment, partnering closely with product owners, QA engineers, and other teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
About the Role
This role is designed for an engineer who enjoys working across the stack and is excited to incorporate AI capabilities to improve code quality, deployment processes, and overall innovation. You will take full ownership of features or systems, proactively identifying and solving problems while influencing architectural decisions and contributing to the long-term technical strategy.
Your day-to-day involves designing and deploying robust, scalable software solutions, breaking down epics into technical tasks, and monitoring cloud infrastructure within AWS. You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies, effectively document your work, and share knowledge with the team. A key part of your journey will be mentoring junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance and peer programming, ensuring the team grows together.
