As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the Saab AUS team, helping to expand our portfolio of products, technologies, and capabilities. This role offers the opportunity to gain tremendous experience with unmanned maritime software and systems while solving difficult problems that deliver critical capabilities to our customers.
Unlike many software positions, at Saab AUS you will see how your efforts contribute to the entire lifecycle and success of a delivered system. You will participate in the full software product lifecycle—from development and prototyping to integration, verification, delivery, and support. In this unique environment, you may even have the chance to witness the systems you help build operated at sea.

Prior experience with U.S. defense programs. Experience developing products/solutions for Naval and Marine applications (including robotic systems). Experience with bare-metal embedded software development.
Skills: C/C++, Python, Linux/unix Shells, Matlab, Eclipse, Gnu, VS Code, Microsoft Visual Studio, Arduino, SVN.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline with 8+ years experience; Master's degree with 6+ years of similar experience.
