Saab Inc.'s Autonomous and Undersea Systems (AUS) division is a world-class team recognized for its technical accomplishments and vision in the maritime and defense sectors. Empowered by talented engineers, the group pushes the boundaries of technology to create safer and more sustainable solutions for the U.S. Armed Forces, the Federal Aviation Administration, and international partners. The AUS division focuses on defining, architecting, and delivering software products for autonomous Unmanned Surface/Underwater Vehicles (USVs/UUVs/AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs).

About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the Saab AUS team, helping to expand our portfolio of products and capabilities. Unlike many software positions, this role offers the unique opportunity to see how your efforts contribute to the entire lifecycle and success of a delivered system. You will solve difficult problems and may even have the chance to witness the systems you help build operated at sea.

You will work within a collaborative team to design, implement, and maintain software across Linux, Windows, and embedded platforms. Your work will span the full product lifecycle, from development and prototyping to integration, verification, and support. This position is ideal for an innovative engineer who wants to gain tremendous experience with unmanned maritime software while solving challenging problems that provide critical capabilities to our customers.
