About the Team

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our agile development team in Atlanta, GA. We are a group of curious, adaptable engineers who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our mission is to drive the next generation of core products by exploring emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), while maintaining technical excellence and cloud-native best practices.

About the Role

As a senior team member, you will be a catalyst for innovation and quality. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex technical challenges and user-centric solutions. You will partner closely with product owners, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust software. Your day-to-day involves not only writing code but also mentoring junior engineers, championing DevOps practices, and breaking down epics into actionable technical tasks.

You will work in a collaborative Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban, taking full ownership of features or systems. Whether you are troubleshooting production issues, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, or incorporating AI capabilities to improve code quality, you will be expected to influence architectural decisions and contribute to our long-term technical strategy.

Hiring Process

We value transparency and efficiency in our hiring journey. While specific steps may vary, candidates can generally expect a process that includes an initial conversation to discuss background and role fit, followed by technical assessments to evaluate problem-solving skills and coding proficiency. The final stages typically involve a deeper dive into system design and a team fit interview to ensure alignment with our collaborative culture.

Our Culture & Commitment

At Cox Automotive, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and consider qualified applicants regardless of background, including disability and veteran status. We foster an environment where continuous learning is encouraged, and where engineers are empowered to pivot easily when priorities shift.

How to Apply

If you are excited to explore emerging technologies and drive technical excellence, we invite you to apply. Please submit your application through our careers portal with your resume and a brief note about your experience with AI or cloud-native architectures.
