Oracle Health Platform Engineering builds the core platform capabilities that enable Oracle Health teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available services. We operate with an AI-first engineering culture, where engineers are expected to leverage AI-assisted approaches to accelerate delivery and improve quality across system design, coding, testing, documentation, and operations.
Only Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care. With AI embedded across our products and services, we help customers turn that promise into a better future for all. True innovation starts when everyone is empowered to contribute.
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer (IC3) to design, develop, and operate backend services and platform components that improve developer productivity while strengthening platform security and reliability. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders—including SRE/Operations, Security, Product, and other engineering teams—to deliver features end-to-end. Your day-to-day will involve clarifying requirements, creating technical designs, implementing solutions, and ensuring robust automated testing and deployment.
You will be expected to demonstrate a practical AI-first mindset, utilizing AI-assisted tools to generate and validate code suggestions, create tests, and improve observability and runbooks. This requires balancing rapid prototyping and efficiency with strong engineering judgment and strict adherence to enterprise security and privacy requirements when handling sensitive data.
The role is based in the United States. Due to security clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship is mandatory, and no visa sponsorship is available. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
