About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to support the enhancement, maintenance, and ongoing operation of an existing enterprise application used to manage complex case evaluation and business processes. This application is the backbone for case tracking, reporting, invoicing, and operational workflows across statewide operations.

In this role, you will not be building a system from the ground up but rather focusing on modernization efforts and application enhancements. You will work on enterprise-level applications that directly support critical public health and forensic services programs. Key initiatives include adding new accounting-related data fields, enhancing search functionality, updating screen layouts, and developing new reporting and invoice capabilities.

You will collaborate with experienced development, QA, operations, and business teams in an Agile environment. The work involves executing development tasks from the product backlog, designing enhancements, and optimizing SQL Server databases. This is a primarily remote position with limited travel requirements, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the technology solutions serving the public sector.
