The Senior Research Administrator serves as a vital member of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL) Headquarters. This position is designed to perform comprehensive pre- and post-award financial research management for the Laboratory's sponsored activities. The role requires the flexibility to float between pre-award and post-award functions, adapting to the operational needs of the Lab as determined by the Senior Manager of Research Administration.
In this capacity, you will navigate a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, managing numerous awards with varying degrees of complexity while meeting concurrent deadlines. Success in this role demands strong interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation, enabling you to interact with, cultivate trust, and build rapport with a diverse range of constituents, including departmental faculty, staff, and external sponsors.
