We are seeking a Senior Renewable Electrical Engineer to join our growing renewables team and lead the design and execution of utility-scale solar projects. This role is designed for a technical leader who thrives in a collaborative environment, offering the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and clients to drive high-quality electrical solutions.
In this position, you will provide technical leadership on utility-scale solar PV, energy storage (BESS), and microgrid projects ranging from 5 MW to 100+ MW. You will act as a key advisor to clients, assisting in the planning and integration of renewable energy resources into the power grid. The day-to-day involves developing and reviewing engineering construction documents, overseeing electrical system studies (such as load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination), and managing the electrical scope for projects of varying sizes. While the role is preferred to be hybrid at one of our PSE offices, we are open to remote candidates who can travel occasionally (approximately 10%) to project sites for data gathering.
