About the Role
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will serve as a vital support pillar for the on-site project team, working closely under the direction of the Project Manager and Superintendent. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a collaborative setting and is eager to take ownership of daily administrative management and documentation. Beyond managing the flow of information, you will be instrumental in mentoring and training junior Project Engineers, ensuring the team grows together. Your day-to-day impact will be felt through your ability to track submittals, manage design updates, and oversee project costs, ensuring that every detail aligns with the project's vision and schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleCoordinate with Project Manager to create accurate project documentation
- check_circleAssist in material procurement and track accuracy of project estimates
- check_circleSolicit new subcontractors and suppliers and ensure pre-qualification steps
- check_circleImplement Change Order procedures and estimate costs of project changes
- check_circleHandle RFI requests in a professional and accurate manner
- check_circleTrack and maintain all necessary close-out documents for the Project Manager
- check_circleDevelop bid packages and manage drawings and on-site construction documents
- check_circleManage project schedule, make necessary changes, and track progress
- check_circleCreate project objectives and track overall project direction
- check_circleSchedule meetings to keep the team updated with detailed project summaries
- check_circleTrack all submittals and follow procedures to ensure project stays on schedule
- check_circleMaintain accurate project budget and communicate necessary changes to the team
Requirements
- verifiedB.S. in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering
- verified5 years experience in construction industry
- verifiedManaged at least one other Project Engineer on large scale commercial/mixed-use/multifamily projects
- verifiedStrong knowledge of all construction management divisions
- verifiedBluebeam/PDF, spreadsheets, online plan rooms, Microsoft Office Suite, computer-based scheduling software
- verifiedExperience with Viewpoint beneficial
