About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Quality & Mission Assurance Engineer with our Naval Power - Radar Sensor Systems team. This is an onsite role located in Plano, Texas.

In this position, you will interface with program quality teams, programs, customers, and supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support technical quality, financial performance, and compliance with Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements. You will serve as a program quality liaison across customer organizations, including the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the United States Government, acting as the first responder for quality issues related to development and production products.

Your day-to-day will involve leading root cause analysis, facilitating corrective actions, and implementing closed-loop process controls to improve product and process predictability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and program leadership to define and implement quality improvement strategies, ensuring all development hardware is appropriately documented in quality history records. Additionally, you will support the generation of new Cost of Quality (CoQ) projects to reduce costs and assist in the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and various audits.

Hiring Process and Application

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid, or remote. The DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted. However, factors such as candidate flow and business necessity may require RTX to shorten or extend the application window.
