We're building toward the AI-native back-office for small businesses, featuring autonomous agents that do the work, paired with expert-backed service and a clean, modern surface owners actually want to use. Our AI Ledger provides autonomous bookkeeping that closes books in hours instead of weeks, delivering reporting and P&L statements that are accurate, current, and trustworthy. It's the most strategic bet on our roadmap.
We're a lean, high-trust team. That means less process, fewer layers, and more ownership. Engineers here don't just ship code; they shape the product, influence decisions, and see their work directly impact customers.
We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer who thrives in ambiguity, ships fast, cares deeply about building reliable, well-crafted systems, and works AI-first by default. You'll work across the stack to design and build core financial workflows, from backend systems and APIs to the user-facing experiences that make them usable. You'll play a key role in shaping our architecture, product direction, and how we operate as an engineering team.
You'll ship faster than a 2025 engineer by steering AI to do most of the implementation while you focus on judgment, decomposition, and verification. You know what good looks like! This is a hands-on role with real ownership, reporting directly to the CTO. You'll be trusted to make decisions, not just execute.
We operate as a small, collaborative team with high ownership and low ego. We prioritize progress over perfection but care deeply about quality. Engineers are expected to think, not just execute. We value clear communication, good judgment, and accountability.
This is a high-impact role with real ownership over product and technical direction. You'll have the opportunity to build in a complex, meaningful space where financial systems matter. You'll enjoy direct access to leadership and fast decision-making in a remote-first environment (with required overlap with East Coast time zones). We also offer quarterly team offsites, a home office setup stipend, and generous PTO plus company holidays.
