About the Role

The Senior Marketing Event Specialist is an onsite role located in San Jose, CA, responsible for planning and executing high-value company tradeshows, seminars, and webinars. This position is designed to drive company forward by creating impactful events that promote our brand, drive awareness, and accelerate pipeline growth.

You will serve as a central hub for event management, working closely with cross-functional teams including creative, content, digital marketing, sales, and product marketing. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the success of these events through seamless collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders. By maintaining professional and polished events aligned with our brand values, you will directly contribute to building brand awareness, improving customer relationships, and driving sales.

check_circleProcess and submit sales and marketing leads to the database for the Data Analyst
check_circleMaintain event information and corporate marketing materials on the corporate website and intranet
check_circleProcess departmental purchase requisitions and report monthly accruals and credit card usage
check_circleTrack and manage status of active literature, promotional items, and tradeshow materials
check_circleManage event implementation, attendee registration, and post-event debriefing activities
check_circleExecute event logistics including vendor selection, venue sourcing, and contract negotiation

Requirements

verifiedUndergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business, life science, or equivalent experience
verifiedMinimum 5 years of experience managing tradeshows and vendor shows
verifiedWorking knowledge of virtual event platforms and technology
verifiedProficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint)
