Autodesk's M&A Finance team is a highly visible and impactful group that plays a key role in shaping the company's inorganic growth and strategic evolution. We operate at the intersection of finance, strategy, and execution, ensuring that every acquisition and divestiture drives tangible value for the organization.
As a Senior Program Manager, M&A Finance, you will be a critical leader within this team, supporting the full M&A lifecycle from diligence and transaction planning through close, integration, and post-close value realization. This role exists to bridge the gap between strategic intent and financial reality, ensuring that complex transactions are executed with precision and that integration efforts deliver on their promises.
You will partner closely with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Corporate Development, Legal, HR, IT, and various business teams to assess transactions, support decision-making, and execute finance workstreams. Your day will involve leading finance diligence activities, analyzing historical and projected financial performance, and synthesizing complex data into clear, decision-ready materials for leadership. You will navigate ambiguity, drive alignment across a matrixed organization, and simplify cross-functional efforts to ensure Day 1 readiness and continuity of operations.
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a structured interview process designed to assess both technical expertise and cultural fit. This typically includes an initial screening, followed by deeper dives into specific M&A scenarios, program management capabilities, and stakeholder management styles.
