This position serves as an experienced information architect and strategic leader within the proposal development function. You will design and structure content for complex, customer-facing documents, acting as a vital resource for the writing team to implement deal-specific structures. As a senior backup to the project director for proposal writing, you will oversee the end-to-end development process for high-value and complex projects, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
The role is deeply rooted in translating complex technical and operational details into compelling, compliant narratives. You will interpret Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) to determine winning strategies. This involves conducting comprehensive research, gathering insights from subject matter experts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and technical experts to craft original, persuasive content.
In this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you will mentor junior team members, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and maintain a library of proposal content and templates. Success in this role requires resilience, the ability to receive direct feedback, and a proven track record of producing original writing that goes beyond library-based or AI-assisted content.
