Senior Manager of Proposal Writing (US State & Local Health and Human Services)

About the Role

This position serves as an experienced information architect and proposal leader, designed to structure and craft compelling content for complex, customer-facing documents. You will act as a strategic partner to the project director, providing backup support and guiding the development of high-value proposals. The role exists to ensure that intricate technical and operational details are translated into persuasive, compliant narratives that drive business success.

In this capacity, you will function as a key resource for the writing team, implementing deal-specific structures and maintaining a library of proposal content. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical experts, to gather insights and refine proposal strategies. The day-to-day involves interpreting RFPs, conducting comprehensive research, and mentoring junior team members to elevate the overall quality of the proposal output.
