This position serves as a strategic partner in driving high-value proposal success, acting as an experienced information architect who designs and structures content for complex customer-facing documents. You will be the resource for the writing team to implement deal-specific structures and serve as the experienced backup to the project director for proposal writing.
In this role, you will interpret and analyze RFPs, RFQs, and IFBs to determine requirements and strategy. Your day-to-day involves gathering information from subject matter experts, translating complex technical and operational details into compelling, compliant narrative, and developing high-level proposal strategies and win themes. You will lead the proposal development process for complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, technical experts, and graphic designers to ensure strategic alignment with business goals.
Beyond the writing and strategy, you will manage relationships with key stakeholders and clients, participating in meetings and presentations to support proposal discussions. You will also provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, maintain a library of proposal content and templates, and stay updated on industry trends to enhance proposal strategies.
