This position serves as an experienced information architect and strategic leader within the proposal development function. You will design and structure content for complex, customer-facing documents, acting as a vital resource for the writing team to implement deal-specific structures. As a seasoned backup to the project director, you will oversee the end-to-end proposal development process for high-value and complex projects, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
The role is deeply rooted in translating complex technical and operational details into compelling, compliant narratives. You will interpret RFPs, RFQs, and IFBs to determine winning strategies, conduct comprehensive research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and technical experts. A key aspect of this position is the ability to interview subject matter experts to extract critical information and draft original, persuasive solution approaches that go beyond library-based content.
