The Senior Maintenance Technician is a pivotal figure in maintaining the operational excellence of our Alpine, California community, which features over 400 units. This position goes beyond standard repairs; it is dedicated to ensuring the physical integrity of the property while fostering a high-quality living environment for residents. As a key member of the multi-site management team, you will work alongside the Community Manager, General Operations Manager, and Maintenance Supervisor to drive efficiency and resident satisfaction.
In this role, you will serve as a technical resource and mentor to junior technicians, leading small teams on specific projects and guiding their professional growth. Your day-to-day involves managing complex repairs across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, developing preventive maintenance plans to avoid future issues, and ensuring timely responses to resident concerns. You will also play a critical part in the "on-call" emergency rotation, coordinating with vendors and team members to resolve urgent matters promptly.
