As a Capital One Machine Learning Engineer (MLE), you will join an Agile team dedicated to productionizing machine learning applications and systems at scale. About the Role

This Senior Lead position sits at the intersection of Operations, Modeling, and Data Engineering. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning systems, from detailed technical design and architectural decisions to the development, deployment, and monitoring of models in production.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product and Data Science teams to solve complex, real-world business problems. Your day-to-day involves making critical infrastructure decisions regarding model selection, data pipelines, and feature engineering while ensuring high availability and performance. You will champion best practices in Responsible and Explainable AI, ensuring all code is well-managed and models are governed from a risk perspective. As a leader, you will also guide teams in developing state-of-the-art software that enables big data and ML applications, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
