Peraton is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Operations Manager to lead enterprise infrastructure and operational support activities for a federal government customer within the Intelligence Community (IC). This position serves as the primary operational interface between the prime contractor, federal leadership, and technical teams supporting mission-critical environments.
In this role, you will act as a strategic leader with strong technical depth and operational rigor. You will drive operational excellence across highly secure federal programs, managing the lifecycle of complex enterprise data centers, networks, and cloud infrastructures. The day-to-day involves coordinating with government stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, and engineering partners to ensure integrated enterprise operations. You will be responsible for developing the organization's IT operations vision, modernization strategy, and roadmap, ensuring all initiatives align with mission objectives. Your leadership will extend to managing financial capital, operational budgets, and workforce strategies to maintain continuity and successful project execution in high-tempo, classified environments.

PMP, ITIL, CISSP, VMware, AWS, Azure, or related industry certifications. Experience supporting Intelligence Community agencies or Department of Energy (DOE). Experience leading cloud migration and enterprise modernization initiatives. Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, DevSecOps, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies. Experience supporting hybrid cloud and multi-classification environments. Experience with enterprise collaboration platforms, VTC systems, and secure communications technologies. Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph eligibility.
Skills: Ts/sci, Linux, Windows Server, Itil, PMP, Cissp, Vmware, Aws, Azure, Zero Trust Architecture.
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
